103 Days To Go!

What are the plans after the wedding? Will there be an after-party, brunch, or other events after the ceremony and reception?

No, there will not be an after-party. The reception is the only celebration planned; we do not have a post-reception event or a next-day brunch scheduled.

Will Josephine and Yngrid be going on a honeymoon after the wedding?

Yes, we’ll be leaving the day after the wedding for a five-day honeymoon by the beach in southwest Oregon. There is absolutly no need to, but if you would like, there is a cash donation option with our registry. We'll be grateful no matter what!

Can guests bring a plus-one?

Yes! Plus ones, or twos are all welcome! Just include that info in your RSVP. If there is a last minute addition, just let us know so we can accommodate. We are more than happy to have extra people celebrate our very special day with us!

What sort of food will be served at the reception, and what if we have restrictions/allergies?

The reception will have a cozy autumn theme with soups, breads, cheeses, and desserts. There may even be s'mores if there's no burn ban! Yngrid is allergic to lots of stuff and is a picky eater, so there shouldn't be too many allergens. Just let us know in the RSVP if there are any requests and we will make sure there are suitable options for you!

When is the RSVP deadline?

We ask that all RSVPs are sent before September 17th. We are putting this celebration together ourselves with the help of friends and family during our free time, so we need time to prepare for all our guests. We understand that situations can change, so communicate those changes to us as soon as you can, please.

What should we wear?

The dress code is casual, but keep in mind that most of the festivities will be outdoors (weather permitting) and it will be the middle of autumn in the PNW. So dress nice, but be comfortable and warm!

Will the wedding and/or reception be outdoors?

Yes for both! Final details will be in the official invite, but the plan is to have a simple ceremony outdoors followed by an outdoor reception in the same area. The location is about 30 minutes outside of Ellensburg city limits and will not have cell reception, so plan accordingly.

When should we arrive for the wedding and reception?

Ideally at least 30 minutes before the ceremony so we can get people in place. The ceremony will be short and starting at 1 PM. For the reception, come and go as you please!
